Abstract

At the end of the 19th century, along with the policy of exploiting Quy Nhon port of the French colonial government, cargo transport activities in Quy Nhon port, Binh Dinh province were increasingly expanded. The volume of goods imported and exported through Quy Nhon port were constantly increasing. Transportation products were diversified to meet the needs of local consumption, exchange and trade, and export to the outside world. The development of cargo transport activities at Quy Nhon port in the late 19th century contributed to creating favorable conditions for goods circulation and trade expansion between Binh Dinh and domestic and foreign regions.
