Slang expressions by Quy Nhon University students on online forums
Abstract
The strong development of information technology with social networks has made thelanguage constantly change including slang expressions. In the past, slang expressions had only been concentrated in a few social groups and often had bad connotations, so this word class has been used by more people nowadays, especially students. This article refers to the research of slang expressions used on the online forum of Quy NhonUniversity students in terms of structure, purpose and effectiveness of using slang expressions.
