The sea in South Central folk tale
Abstract
Folk literature is a precious treasure which holds cultural value of each country. Appearing in many genres of folk tale, sea is not only a natural image or a territorial imprint, but it also contains many meanings. We can discover the origin, characteristics of the sea, the relationship between the sea and the people. Folk conception of the sea is very plentiful and it confirms the existence as well as the importance of the sea to humans.
