Some solutions to implement the product and service development strategy of Muong Thanh Luxury Quang Ninh hotel in the period of tourism recovery

Abstract

  A product and service development strategy is a functional strategy that helps enhance hotels’ competitiveness and promote their business. This article examines factors of selecting the best product and service development strategy, as well as solutions for putting the strategy into action for Muong Thanh Luxury Quang Ninh during the tourism recovery period. To reach this aim, the author employed in-depth interviews with 20 experts together with SWOT analysis for identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and the QSPM strategic planning matrix for selection of appropriate strategy. The article then identified four strategies for products and services development and suggested five solutions for strategies implementation to restore and develop Muong Thanh Luxury Quang Ninh hotel's business activities.
