Studying the repetition in the works "miss you twelve months" by Vu Bang
Abstract
The literary works "The Miss December" by writer Vu Bang is a valuable work in literary of Vietnam. Along with the other art value, repetition contributed greatly to the success of the work. In this work, repetition is often used with multiple levels of language, in all chapters, part. Research results show that: The repetition syntax structure has the highest frequency, 180 times, the rate of 42.45%; The repeated words has a rate of 174 times, the rate of 41.04%; The repeated phrase with frequency 64 times, the rate of 15.1%; The repeated first consonant and the repeated rhyme has a very small proportion with the frequency of 2 and 4 times, respectively the rate of 0.47% and 0.94%. The author Vu Bang has many repetitions in syntax structures: intactly repeated , not intactly repeated (repeated subject, repeated predicates, repeated adverbs, repeated theme, repeated matter, repeated qualitative, repeated complementary);type of repetition with the same subject, type of repetition with the different subject. The repetition contributes to the successful expression of the natural landscape, material and spiritual cultural values of the North of Vietnam, and also shows the author's love and nostalgia for his homeland.
