Euthanasia and the matter of legalization of the right to die in Vietnam

Abstract

The right to die is a legal term refers to the right of a person who has a terminal illness, incurable pathology, prolonged suffering or who is facing a lingering death, should be permitted to end his life with the support of authorized organization. At present, the right to die is still in dispute in many countries, including Vietnam. There are many arguments about whether people should have the right to die intentionally to end their own perceived pain and suffering. The article contributes to clarifying the euthanasia and presents author's opinion about the legalization of the right to die in Vietnam.
