The Aesthetic signal of the word river in “Nguoi lai do Song Da” by Nguyen Tuan
Abstract
Aesthetic signals play a crucial role in decoding distinct features of a literary work’s content and artistic features. Basing on the theory of aesthetic signals, we examined and analyzed the varied lexical forms of the word river and their aesthetic meanings in “Nguoi lai do Song Da” by Nguyen Tuan. This article aims at contributing another approach to the literary analysis from the perspective of the aesthetic signal. Additionally, the article shows Nguyen Tuan’s great artistic creativity in the use of the word river to convey the literary work’s meaning.
