Abstract

This article presents a study on the application of GeoGebra software in mathematics education, with a specific focus on the concept of the definite integral in the Grade 12 curriculum. Grounded in integral theory and a constructivist pedagogical approach, the authors propose methods for integrating GeoGebra into the design of learning activities, including introductory tasks and conceptual development. These activities aim to support students in accessing the integral concept through visual and logical representations. The paper provides concrete illustrations of how GeoGebra can be employed in instructional design, thereby offering a new approach to organizing mathematics learning experiences. It also suggests the potential for extending the use of GeoGebra to other mathematical topics within general education.
