Design and organization of teaching STEM topic “Cleaning dirty water” in Science teaching in elementary schools
Abstract
Applying the STEM education model to teaching topics in elementary school s is one of the teaching orientations suitable for the 2018 general education program - developing learners' capacity and quality . The Science curriculum is built on the concept of integrated teaching and topic-based teaching, which is a subject that is very suitable for STEM-oriented teaching. The article presents an overview of STEM education, the process of designing STEM topics in primary s chool s and illustrates the design and organization of teaching the topic "Cleaning dirty water" in Grade 4 Science. The article ends with orient ations for teachers to propose ideas for STEM topics based on the requirements to be achieved and the content of the subjects.
